Together

Well I decided at the last minute to create a LO for the amazing Deer and Fawn monthly challenge today. And to say I struggled is an understatement!!! I think the mixture of a really painful bad back and the real desire to scrap while I had free time didn't really mix this time!! I did create a page but it's not my best Im sorry to say. But thought I would share anyway cos it shows that we have bad days too!

So this is the challenge.....
April Challenge - use sprays, stencil, at least ONE paint colour & a household item as a stamp!

This challenge is fantastic! I love all the elements listed, and they are all techniques I use frequently, just not in the best way today unfortunately.

So this is my LO......
I used mists and a stencil (I love this stencil) using texture paste mixed with black paint. My home made stamp is where it all went wrong....I decided to use a fork to squiggle lines, hmmmm might not try that again! O well I guess I can look at it as this, I still got to scrap a memory of my gorgeous boy and I.

There are elements I do like on this page and that is the simple cluster.....
And of course the chance to use this pretty stencil ( it's a Tim holtz ).
I wasn't going to share this as I'm a little embarrassed by the final result but thought I'd show that it's ok to have a bad day too and not everytime is perfect going to happen.
Until next time I hope your scrapping endeavors are of the more perfect mistakes then the oh no ones! Xx

A new adventure - Kit the Habit

Well we have finally done it! Done what you may ask?
We (the most amazing, talented, gorgeous, Tammy Klingner, and I) have joined our passion, and creative licence to bring you what is.....'Kit the Habit'.

Starting off small, we will bring you kits (you may have guessed this in the name) that will feature all things flair, project life cards, fussy cuts, wood veneers and many more embellishments that you will be able to create a number of projects with. A few of these projects may consist of Project life, traditional LOs featuring these 4x6 and 3x4 cards , tag or card making and really anything else your heart may desire to create. But what we want and hope to bring you is fun and inspiration.
Over the next few weeks we will be sharing snippets of an up and coming scrap day we will be holding locally, (our face book group has details also), the event it named 'scrap AWESOMEwith an R' and we have the beautiful, extremely talented guest designer Natalie May joining us for an amazing class that will send your creative juices into overload. Tammy and I also have a class each to hopefully get the inspiration flowing once again. So please spread the news, like our group and our blogs and get excited with us!

I am loved

Sassy mood board (April)
How gorgeous is this!!
I couldn't wait to play with all these colours!!! Im also in love with the I AM collection, so just had to use it for my LO.
The PL kit is perfect for a quick LO, making layering easier. I quite like the whimsy feel it has created.
And I couldn't resist clouds today!! So I used a stencil as well as chipboard and my love (so much love everywhere, hehe) of doodle art that I couldn't help myself but draw on my clouds!
Hope u like this little piece of me and gives some inspo too! 😘

Call me

How awesome is the new Kraft+ challenge for April!!!
Retro inspired!!!
Here is my interpretation for this month:

I had a blast creating this LO as I love the colors and theme! I had a chance to play with my gelatos, (which have not seen daylight for quite awhile) and it was fun!!! So many title options also running through my mind while creating....call me, maybe.....call me al.....but finally went with call me! (Blondie Classic of course)

Hope you enjoy my take on this months challenge as much as I had creating it!
Till next we meet, happy scrapping!
