Awesome Day

'Awesome Day' was inspired by the challenge over at Deer and Fawn this month!

The challenge is monocromatic using orange, black/and or white!! 

How very awesome right??

Here is my interpretation.....

I love the colour Orange and I quite enjoy pairing it up with black, so this time I thought I would try on a white background! I couldn't resist using my paint swirls on it just to break up the white a little, lol!! 

It was heaps of fun! 

There is still time left, why not be inspired by the sun and brighten up your desk with a spot of orange!

Stay Cool

It's September!!!! This year is flying, but it means new inspiration......

Over at K+this month they have an awesome sketch by Em Stafrace!!! I love her sketches, and was privileged to be a guest designer for her a couple of years ago, love your work Em!!! Here is the challenge....

And here is my take on it....

Had fun with this one!! I loved the fun my hubby had dressing up for a 50s party a few months ago, and thought he was a little bit 'Fonzy'!! 'AAAAY!!! Lol! 

Anyway it was cool to try and make it a little retro.

The months not over yet, why not see what you can do with Em's sketch over at K+ now.
