Once upon a time-Off the Rails scrapbooking

Hi there, 

It's very exciting to be a part of the team here at 'Off the rails'!! 

What a fantastic opportunity. 

So for my first share with you all I have my version of this months moodboard - steampunk inspired. 

Here is the inspiration.....

So from this I took the colour tones, teacup and clock ideas and found the cool image I used on Pinterest. 

Alice in wonderland is my favourite story of all time, the adventure, the quirks and curiosity and of course the fun! 

 

I played with some fun mediums and embellishments, chipboard and metals being 2. 

For my chippy I rubbed distress oxides and then quickly applied emboss powder so it 'punked' it up a little. 

And for some of the other chippy I painted with metal paints to add to that metallic feel. 

I added this cool quote and awesome acrylic teacup to finish it all off. 😉

Hello - ScrappingClearly

Hi everyone!! 

I'm so so so excited to be here today as a new DT member for Scrapping Clearly!! 

This is one awesome venture to be a part of and I hope to inspire and be inspired. 

So to start of my adventure I thought I would play with the monthly mood board. 

How cute is this bug tho right 😉

I was totally inspired not just by the colours but also the insects from this mood board! 

I got to play with lots of cool products including, Pinkpaislee Cedar Lane paper. I used 3 different sheets, which I cut to surround and layer my photo. 

Adding just a couple of  We R memory keepers chipboard pieces for my title. 

For my embellishments I finished it off with a few Heidi Swapp puffy stickers 😊 

I had such fun with this mood board. 

Im so happy to be here and look forward to sharing with you all soon. 

And I totally can't  wait to see what your creations will look like.

This month at 'Scrap the boys' we have a bit of a dedication to fathers and sons for our challenge theme.
