Love - with Emma.

Happy Sunday to you all 😊
I hope you are all having a fantastic weekend.
Today on the SC blog I’m sharing a simple layout
Consisting of many pieces from the My Minds Eye ‘On Trend 2’ range.

For my  base sheet I used a sheet from the Pinkpaislee cedar lane collection and then proceeded to tear a couple of strips off  of 2 papers in the MME range.
I then added a stencil and texture crackle paste, along with distress oxides for colour. I then stamped to complete my layered look on my paper.

With my paper layers under my photo I use mostly the On trend 2 journal cards. So perfect for layering.

I fussy cut a couple of images to add, Eg the flowers, cactus and flamingo.
This range is so pretty with its gold elements and soft colours but then I love the eclectic feel with the cactus and flamingos.

I finished it all off with many stickers from the collection and my layout was finished.
My layout is simple but the paper is exquisite.
I hope you all get to have a little Scrap time today.
I’ll catch you all soon.
Em. Xx

Create your own dreams for ScrappingClearly

Hey there scrappy peeps,
I'm up on the SC blog today, sharing my tongue in cheek take of the sketch this month 😜
Now I love love love sketches but this one truly had me scratching my head!

It's awesome, just I didn't know what to do with it?!

So here is what I 'took' from it......
I did place my photo in the bottom right hand side......

But I turned it 😉
I did 'journal' with some of the cool 7dots stickers, and I tried to keep the shape of the sketch, didn't I??
The great thing about a sketch is you can interprete
what or how you see it 😉

I played with some pretty cool products on this page.
I started by using some of the Simple Stories Carpe Diem papers, torn and layered behind my photo as well as my base sheet.
Added some colour blast texture paste, some stamping and mists to create my layers.

I altered these Heidi Swapp canvas tags with Tim Holtz distress oxides. And then added them into my layers.
Plenty of SS Carpe Diem chipboard embellishments on the page.

They all just tie in so well together.

So that is my loose interpretation of this months sketch.

I can't wait to see how you all play with it.

Catch you soon.

Video tutorial with Emma

Welcome to the middle of September 😉
Today I'm sharing a quick little video of this tag I have made.
Still inspired by the steampunk theme I had fun making a tag for something a little different.

I'd love you to check out my video here:

Can't wait to see your creations.
Don't forget to see all the DT inspo over at Off the rails.

Fancy

Hi there,
Today I'm sharing my take on this months moodboard.
It's such a cheerful board. Lots of pretty colours and flowers.

I chose to use 'shades' of this moodboard.
Focus on the yellow, green & black.
I used the Simple Stories-Carpe Diem paper range.
I used the matching chipboard frames, which I cut up to create layers.

I also used a little of  the MME - On Trend 2 journal cards.
It worked perfectly with the colours.

I used a few of the Carpe Diem chipboard stickers.

How gorgeous is the gold in these papers!!
And to really bling it up I used a Heidi Swapp acetate word for my title and enamel shapes to tie it all together.

Thanks for checking my page out.
I hope you can join in the fun here at ScrappingClearly

 I also made a
process video for this layout, if you want to check it out here.....
