Stay Cool

It's September!!!! This year is flying, but it means new inspiration......
Over at K+this month they have an awesome sketch by Em Stafrace!!! I love her sketches, and was privileged to be a guest designer for her a couple of years ago, love your work Em!!! Here is the challenge....
And here is my take on it....
Had fun with this one!! I loved the fun my hubby had dressing up for a 50s party a few months ago, and thought he was a little bit 'Fonzy'!! 'AAAAY!!! Lol!
Anyway it was cool to try and make it a little retro.
The months not over yet, why not see what you can do with Em's sketch over at K+ now.
Catch you on the scrap side :)

In love with u

I love a Dlish mood board, and I love creating with the monthly kit release as well! It is instant inspo!! Check it out.....
Now I have come to realize I've stretched the rules a little with the colour tones esp with the grey looking more like black on mine (insert wrong background paper choice here)...whoops...(but it's a funky background paper, so it's ok isn't it :)???)
We had a blast in Melbourne my hubby and I for our anniversary recently,  and thought this kit was perfect for this pic we took at our hotel.
 Such a cute kit!
I added just a few of my own elements to complement the already fantastic ones.
I had a bit of fun remincing when creating this.
Really enjoyed putting this LO together.
Till next time, Em. Xx
P.s I really am sorry for not reading the rules properly. :/

Captured this

I haven't had the chance to participate in one of  Sassy Scrappers mood board in awhile so I thought this month might be a good chance to have a play. Here is the inspo....
And it just so happened I play with all these elements or 'ingredients' a lot!! (Hehehe)
Here is my LO of Asha walking his best mate Zen on the weekend! I love their friendship, nothing better then an animal friend!

In this LO I enjoyed using a new stencil and making the washi banner (it's been awhile since I made one of these too).

Hope you get a chance to get some inspiration over on the Sassy blog also.

Us

Yay!!! Another monthly challenge complete!! Over at Scrap the boys this time! I loved this one as I love the colour inspo and that I'm a mum!! Here is the inspo......
Great hey!!!!
And here is my LO of my 'baby' boy and me.....
I wanted to keep it more 'raw' with my elements in this one so I opted to not use any mixed media and let the papers shine.
I also love this new PinkFresh studio stamp and couldn't wait to use it....
Cute ain't it!
Hope u likely.
Till next creative moment, Em!! Xx

Enough

I just get so excited when a new month starts, why u ask? Because all new challenges begin!!!! Such as this amazing one from the amazing Kraft+ team!
Check it out.....
Amazing right?
So exciting too!!
I have tried to embrace this art of doodling a few times and I find it rather relaxing (hence the zentangle expression)
Here is what I came up with......
I had a lot  of fun, I also used Pinterest and the DT for inspiration! I'm in love with all things feathered big time at the moment, so I had to do a bird.....
And I also doodled on my feathers....
Had a blast! Hope you like it too.
And I hope you have a go at this fun and exciting challenge!
Catch ya soon, Em. Xxx

Superstar - Dlish monthly kit

I just LOVE the monthly JAP kits over at D-lish  scraps!!! They are full of inspiration!!!
Here is a little of the inspo......
And here is what I created with the kit....
It was super cool having a 'boy' inspired kit! It meant it didn't have to stretch the ideas too far (although making it interesting and techniquey, yep I just said that word, is always a stretch of the mind). Had an absolute blast with this kit!
Can't wait to see what next months is!!!
Scrap ya later, Em. Xxx

Focus

I'm totally in love with this months K+ challenge.....
How awesome is it!!!
Not only is it one of my fave colours to play with, I knew what to use to create with this time!!!
Thanks to an amazing JAP kit from D-lish scraps this LO was fun to create. I also got to scrap my cousins gorgeous little girl. (So nice to scrap a girl for a change)
For the paint criteria I used a crackle paint over a stencil....
Hope you enjoy checking it out as much as I did creating it!
Catch ya, Em. Xx
