I adore you - Emma Zappone

Good morning.
Its Monday, but I don't want that to dampen the scaping spirit......
So today I will be sharing 2 layouts with you, one now and one a bit later on this arvo,  as it's the 29th of Feb, which means it's a new month tomorrow. (squeezing in 3 shares in 2 days)
My first share for today was inspired by Krisy's mood board challenge over at The Scrap Suite.
The colours are just gorgeous, so subtle and elegant.
Here is my interpretation.......

And here is the mood board.....

Isn't it beautiful.
As soon as I saw this challenge I just knew I had to give it a go. Again the colours are not my go to colour scheme but wow it was nice to play with a such soft selection of colours.
And hello....gold again in this. I'm digging (for) gold right now. Lol.

I wanted to keep it fairly simple, really showcasing the colour tones.
I used some gold texture paint with a Dusty Attic cross stencil, randomly over the page.
Then I started layering with a few PL papers and overlays. I placed a quote overlay over a bitty bag to really make it stand out. And I tucked in some gold punchinella in also. I then tucked in a journal It as my title for this page.

How cute is the bike flair! I just had to use it!
Now I don't use a lot of flowers on my pages but I really felt I had to with these gorgeous colours. So I just added a few random flowers that matched. Some good Ol' enamel dots finished off my little cluster.

So because I used flowers, I thought, hey I have sequins I received in one of the past JAP kits, lets play with them on here too.
They add a nice bit of bling with the gold, don't you think?
I love this finished page. And It was really nice to play along with one of the challenges this month.
Have you had a chance to play yet?
It's a lot of fun and it really helps get inspired to try different things, like I did with different colours then my usual go to.
I'll see you all a little later on with my final share for this month.

💛you - Emma Zappone

Hello.
How has your day been?
Great I hope.
I'm here with D-lish to share my final layout for this month with you.
I wanted this page to be a quick layout, especially as I have been very time poor of late and I like to remind myself that quick can still look good. And I hope you think so too, lol.

I decided that if I used a bright busy background paper I wouldn't need to 'dress' it with anything. I used plenty of punchinella on here with 3 bitty bags for my layers. A journal tag from a past JAP kit and a cute flair.

I painted 2 of the dusty attic chipboard words to compliment the paper, and no layout is complete without a journal it.

And in this months JAP kit we had this awesome 'love you' wood veneer!!! Had to use this as I totally adore the people in this photo. And it paints so well.

I did love giving the softest koala in the photo a big cuddle too.
A couple of coloured arrows and some randomly placed stamps and the page was complete. It was quick and fun.
It helps when you have fantastic products to play with like D-lish has.
That reminds me, tomorrow is the 1st of March, and you know what that means.....
A New JAP kit gets released!!! There has also been a few re stocks so get in quick, so that you don't miss out.
It's been a great couple of days sharing with you.
I hope it has been of some inspiration.
Till I see you all next month, happy scrapping,
Em. Xxxx

Such fun - Emma Zappone.

Hi there fellow scrappers,
It's the weekend, I hope that means some down time with those important to you and hopefully a little creative time.
I'm excited to be here for the next couple of days to share what I have created with some amazing D-lish goodies.
The first one I'm sharing is created with this months JAP kit......

Inspired by this mood board.....

Gold, it's so hot right now!!!
And I LOVE playing with it, it adds shimmer and shine to anything. In this kit it was beautifully tied in with pink, not a colour I admit to using a whole lot but I was a little excited to use it in a girly fun way.
But I grunged it up a little instead, lol.
I just had to scrap this photo of my gorgeous friends and I at a recent concert we enjoyed together.
Many laughs and fantastic music made for an awesome night.

Somwhat i did to create this page I very quickly brushed on some impasto paste, dried it and then added water paint over the top, and then spritzed it all over with a gold.
I then used a couple of stamps, and so this became my 'grunged' up background.
I must admit I don't love it but at the same time I don't hate it either.

This kit consists of so many fantastic elements, my hat goes off to Amanda very month for what she puts into them.
My fave items in this kit were the gold scallop and that cute camera. Who am I kidding I loved all the embellishments!!! I loved using pieces of the washi tape with the gold punchinella and then tore strips of the pink tissue paper.
With just a little bit of twine and some flairs this page was complete.

Did you manage to grab yourself a kit this month? If you did, have you had a chance to play with it yet?
We would love to see what you have made with all these D-lishous treats.
I hope you all have a fantastic Saturday, and I look forward to seeing you all tomorrow.

#Perfect pose

It's February already!!!
Which means a new challenge over at SUYS. It's a quote challenge this month and I was inspired by the word 'perfect'....I used it as one of my title words.....

I played with texture paste and inks with a few different stencils, one from flutterbys designs.
Here is the challenge.....

This month Burdys is our sponsor so I had to use some of her goodies on my layout. So I chose to use her fabric button and foam arrows. Awesome embellishments for a boy layout.

I used a few other embellishments from cocoa vanilla to add to the page.

Would love to see what you create for this months challenge. Hope U get to have a go, and maybe try and create a unique embellishment for your unique layout.
Catch ya next month.
