Tell tall Tales - with Emma

Hi everyone.
I’m on the blog today with a layout and a process video.
It’s inspired by this months moodboard.
This layout was mostly inspired by the silver tones and ‘shiny’ look from the top left image.

I hope you enjoy my video.

I had lots of fun creating this page.

I’ll catch you all soon.

Shine - with Emma

Happy hump day everyone.
Today on the Scrappingclearly blog
I'm sharing a layout that is inspired by the 'spring word', shown in the mood board challenge we have this month.
Now I must admit I wasn't sure how to tackle this moodboard, as there is much to choose from.
So the shiny bling word and a few of the colours is what I went with. ☺️

Ok so I know the word is the only good bling I have but the colours also reflect some of those in the board too 😜

It was fun to create this one and rather easy.
I started with a few assorted mists and some of the amazing oxide inks!
I also used a Colour blast paste through a stencil to give it texture and then
I then layered a few of the smaller frames from the Simple Stories Carpe Diem range.

After this I layered a Heidi Swapp canvas tag under my photo.

Using just a couple of letters from Studio Calico gold stickers I placed the B and the U to show we can express ourselves.
And then I used a few sequins to pull it all together.

And lastly I used the very gold blinged Heidi Swapp 'shine' word to create my title.

I really enjoyed getting a little artsy with this page.

I also made a video of this layout being created and would love you to check it out 😊

What do you see in this months moodboard?
Can't wait to see how you interprete it.
Till next time, Em. 😘

Happy - with Emma

 Hi scrappingclearly peeps.
Today I'm sharing a layout I had fun creating, featuring a friend that means so much to me.
It features many great products that I have been playing a lot with of late.
(See product list at end of post)

I've been havering fun with the use of the Cedar Lane collection and On Trend 2 collection
I can never just stick to using one collection at a time but rather love to mix them together.

My title is a Heidi Swapp chipboard word......it's so sparkly 😝
These words are the best 'statement' pieces 😉

I used a couple of MME puffy stickers around. I think I've said it before, but I'm really not good at journaling straight onto my pages so I love stickers and journal cards to cut up and do the talking for me.

These Cedar Lane arrows are the perfect combo of sparkle, colour and texture that compliment any page.

This was a nice quick, bright layout that was fun to create.
I hope it stirs a little creativity for you.
I'll catch you all soon.

Run wild and free

Hi everyone.
Today I’m sharing my DT layout for this months ‘Scrap the boys challenge’

It was based on a sketch 😊

I wanted it to stay simple but eye catching.
I think I managed that 😉😂

Plenty of layers.

I hope you play along too.
See you all soon.

Laugh - with Emma

Woohoo it’s Saturday!!
Which means family time and Scrapbooking 😉
Today I’m sharing a page that is created along with this months Sketch challenge here at ScrappingClearly.

I’m a total sucker for Snapchat Filters!!
I mean they are just too much fun.
And when I’m feeling a bit down they make me smile.

I used up a few pieces from a couple of different collections. Starting with my base sheet which is from the Pink Paislee cedar lane collection. The circles are from another sheet in that collection, and I punched them out.

The frames under my photos are Simple Stories chipboard frames.
I also layered a few Pink Paislee washi strips up under my circle layers.

I finished it all off with a Heidi Swapp glitter bow to add a bit of ‘fun’ to the layout.
I really hope you join in the fun this month with one of our challenges. Maybe this sketch is on the Saturday to do list 😉
Catch u all soon.
