Yay, it's the weekend!! 

Who has plans? Family? Friends? Scrapping? 

All of the above?? 

Well whatever your plans I hope you have an amazing and enjoyable time.

Today I'm going to share the first of my three layouts with you.

The first one is a fun start to the weekend with a fun shot of my youngest boy.

It's a bit of a playful and cheeky layout with a couple of pops of colour.

I used plenty of D-lish goodies too.

I started with using one of the new Dusty Attic circle stencils (sadly sold out already), these stencils are super easy to play with. I used just good old gesso with this one.

Added a little bit of mist spray and some stamping.

Then I created my layers.

I used a couple of different washi tapes and like most of my layouts I incorporated a word it's tag.

I love the enamel dots from the D-lish store also, they are a great size and plenty of colour.

Finishing it all off with a fun flair, no layout of mine is complete without a flair.

And there are heaps to choose from in the shop.

It's Monday!! 

So instead of feeling Blah about that I'm going to share my final layout for the month.

I have been inspired by the mood board this month and the amazing JAP kit that Amamda keeps wowing us with.

Here is my take....

And here is the mood board.... 

I just looooove the colours! Now in the kit came the muslin piece, I have ALWAYS been nervous using this embellishment!! So I thought today was the day I played with it! I decided to use it instead of paper! And because it adds height I thought I would cluster those amazing circle veneers under my photo which I mounted with foam tape. 

I thought about painting them but I loved the rawness on top of the muslin.

So I left them. I then made a small cluster out of those incredible enamel flowers and flair.

But on my bottom circle I used a pip berry stem twisted around with a few placed flowers.

It softened and prettied it up.

And then I created my final cluster.

Using the twine and more of the flowers and another awesome flair from the kit, my layout was almost complete. 

I added sequins and glass cabochons just cos I couldn't resist them. 

These JAP kits have so much in them, and are full of inspiration.

Morning everyone,

It's a cold Sunday where I am, I quite enjoy winter, warm fires and hearty food.

Today I'm going to share a layout with softer tones. And I added flowers with a pic of my boys!!! 

I love the feel of this page. It's a simple layout with simple layers.

The pic of my boys up in the tree allowed me to use some flowers.

 But I opted to use the hessian flowers, and I twisted the pip berry stem to look a little like a branch.

One of my fave embellishments is the glass cabochons that are in the shop.

I love the feel of them, they really add another dimension.

Again I used a tag it's tag, and a fantastic wood veneer, which I painted with a spritz and then sprinkled glitter over it.

Yep I even used glitter on my boy page....lol!

Hi! 

The weeks are flying past and I have only just had the chance to write this blog for SUYS!! 

So if you haven't had a chance to check out this months challenge, now is that time!! 

And here is my creation......

This challenge makes us dig around in our stash a little and work with a sketch. 

I chose to use a few metals and trinkets and hessian ribbon that I just haven't used up. Kind of nice to de-stash a little. 

Why don't you try and have a play with this fun challenge and see what you can dig up from your stash!

Eclectic ME

Wow! Where do I start with this Kraft+ challenge this month! 

As soon as I saw it I wanted to have a go at it, but it scared me a little. Do I mix media? Do I break all my scrap rules? Do I use a full photo? 

 

Well this was the outcome.... 

 

 

 I just went for it!! 

Here is what the inspiration looked like....

 

Cool as hey? 

I thought, just have fun with it, play, use pieces lying around, paint and see what happens. 

 

So that's what I did. 

 

And I had fun!! And I placed pieces of me all over it, things that make me, me.  And messages for me also to remember. 

I hope you can can get to have a go playing with this amazing board of inspiration.

Hearts I can do but poetry???? 

So good ol pal Pinterest came to my rescue and helped me pen a poem. Lol. 

Here is my creation for this challenge....

I used lots of different goodies for this one, it's fun using odds and ends up. And I made my own washi banner for this one to tie the pic with the poem. 

And a few cocoa vanilla bits too.

You and me - Emma Zappone

Hi everyone, 

Emma here to share my first of what I have been playing with for this month. 

Have you seen this months mood board and kit? 

This is what I created with it and what the board looks like.... 

Super pretty and soft. 

It's a loved up theme, so I used this emotion of love to scrap my gorgeous hubby and I. 

The JAP kit this month is stunning. All of the pieces are amazing, my fave this time is the wood veneer word. I wanted a soft colour on this veneer so I used a spritz to cover it. These veneers are awesome as the colour stays true and doesn't just soak up the colour. 

And because everything is matching in the kit, layouts come together easily. 

I added only a couple of small papers up behind my photo and flicked a bit of ink around the page. 

The flairs also in this kit are just wow! 

My pages are never complete without a flair. 

I hope you got a chance to have a play with this months board. 

Not long before there will be a new one in the D-lish shop.
